How do I use the app to borrow books? Simply search SCU Borrow and download the app when you are on campus, sign in with your SCU credentials, and use your device’s camera to scan the barcode of the book you want to borrow. You can check out items from the Lismore, Gold Coast, or Coffs Harbour campus libraries.

Do I need a physical library card to use the app? No, your SCU login credentials serve as your digital library access. Once signed in, the app connects to your library account and manages your borrowing activity.

Is the app available to alumni, reciprocal or community members?

The SCU Borrow app is designed for enrolled students and staff. Alumni, reciprocal and community members can apply for borrowing rights through the SCU Library and will be able to check out their library items using the kiosk.

Please contact library staff if you have any issues downloading or using the app.
