What is the Collections Review?
The Library is conducting a Collections Review. This is part of our routine collection management. The review targets print items in our collections and identifies those items not used, damaged, out of date or redundant. It also identifies items best housed in other collections to maximise their exposure to patrons. By doing this, the library's print collection is kept relevant to our students and researchers by identifying subject areas needing fresh titles, and enhancing our very large collection of online books. It also redeems shelf space for new books, and floor space to create more flexible student spaces and showcase our special collections.
